I chose Villa Casagrande for my husband's birthday celebration with friends. The historical charm amazed me. the decor beautifully mixed the ancient with modern touches. Staff assistance was exceptional. They helped arrange our three dinners and a delightful wine tasting, which everyone raved about. The grounds are stunning, adding a lovely backdrop to our gatherings. We stayed in the Deluxe Double Room, which was spacious and comfortable. However, the dinner menu lacked variety over our stay, especially desserts. Some noise from other rooms disrupted our rest. Also, the spa was closed during our visit, which was disappointing since we booked expecting those amenities.

Breakfast featured fresh-cracked eggs, and the friendly staff contributed significantly to a welcoming atmosphere. The invigorating shower in the comfortable double room maintained a perfect temperature. However, the classic twin room felt rather basic, and low ceilings could be an issue for taller guests. While the pool area was nice, it's a bit of a hike to reach your drinks and meals, which might not suit everyone.
